Royal Bengal Rahasya (2011)

Royal Bengal Rahashya  is a thriller film directed by Sandip Ray based on the novel of the same name by Satyajit Ray. The film was released on 23 December 2011. It was the fifth big screen Feluda adaptation of Sandip Ray in the Feluda new film series and was the sequel to Gorosthaney Sabdhan. After the demise of Bibhu Bhattacharya , Sabyasachi Chakrabarty declared that he would not be playing Feluda anymore. Thus, director Sandip Ray decided to reboot the series, Badshahi Angti, the first installment of which starring Abir Chatterjee as Feluda and Sourav Das as Topshe was released on 19 December 2014.

Ebar Shabor (2015)

Ebar Shabor is a 2015 Bengali suspense-mystery-thriller film based on the detective story "Rwin" by Shirshendu Mukhopadhyay. The film is directed by Tollywood line producer Arindam Sil, and produced by Reliance Entertainment and Mundus Services. This is the second directorial venture of the master film director after the blockbuster Aborto The film is based on the investigation of the murder of Mitali Ghosh (Swastika Mukherjee). What follows is a revelation of certain shameful truths that are prevalent in the life of a typical high society person.



Byomkesh Bakshi (2010)

Byomkesh Bakshi is an Indian crime drama film on Bengali fictional detective Byomkesh Bakshi released on 13 August 2010. The film is directed by Anjan Dutt. The film spawned three sequels till date titled as Abar Byomkesh, Byomkesh Phire Elo and Byomkesh Bakshi.



36 China Town (2006)

36 China Town is a 2006 Bollywood comedy murder mystery film directed by Abbas-Mustan and produced by Subhash Ghai. It is an official adaption of the 1992 American film Once Upon a Crime.

The film stars an ensemble cast of Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Akshaye Khanna, Vivek Shauq, Isha Koppikar, Upen Patel which was his film debut, Paresh Rawal, Payal Rohatgi, Johnny Lever and Tanaaz Currim, while Priyanka Chopra and Tanushree Dutta make special appearances. The film follows the investigation of a police officer trying to find the killer of a wealthy casino owner, Sonia Chang.



Bees Saal Baad (1962)

Bees Saal Baad is a 1962 Indian Hindi-language psychological thriller film. It was produced by Hemant Kumar, who also gave the music and sings some of the songs. The film marks the directorial debut of Biren Nag, and stars Biswajeet, Waheeda Rehman, Madan Puri, Sajjan and Asit Sen.

The film is a loose adaptation of the Bengali hit thriller Jighansa (1951), which was based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The Hound of the Baskervilles. The film topped the box office chart in 1962, becoming a "super hit." The film became very popular for the song Kahin deep jale sung by Lata Mangeshkar. Lyricist Shakeel Badayuni wrote all the songs for this movie out of which Lata Mangeshkar won the Filmfare award "Kahin Deep Jale Kahin Dil".

Andadu Aagadu (1979)

Andadu Aagadu is a 1979 Telugu spy thriller film directed by S. D. Lal and produced by Shrikant Nahata under Shrikant Pictures. The film stars Krishnam Raju and Latha Sethupathi in the lead roles. The film has music composed by Chellapilla Satyam. The film is a remake of the 1973 Bollywood film, Keemat starring Dharmendra and Rekha. Krishnam Raju acted in a spy role which is parallel to James Bond.



Joi Baba Felunath (1979)

oi Baba Felunath is a 1979 Indian Bengali mystery film by director Satyajit Ray, featuring Soumitra Chatterjee, Santosh Dutta, Siddartha Chatterjee, Utpal Dutt among others. The film is based on the famous Feluda novel of the same name written by Ray himself. It is the second film of Feluda as well as the sequel of Sonar Kella directed by Satyajit Ray. After the demise of Santosh Dutta , Ray remarked that it was impossible to ever make a Feluda film again without Dutta.



Baadshah (1999)

Baadshah is a 1999 Bollywood action comedy film directed by Abbas-Mustan. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan opposite Twinkle Khanna in lead roles. It was released on 27 August 1999. Shahrukh Khan earned a Filmfare Award nomination for Best Performance in a Comic Role. It is inspired from films such as Nick of Time, Rush Hour, If Looks Could Kill, Mr Nice Guy, The Mask.



Baishe Srabon (2011)

Baishe Srabon is a 2011 Bengali psychological thriller directed by Srijit Mukherji. The cast consists of Prosenjit Chatterjee, Parambrata Chatterjee, Raima Sen, Abir Chatterjee and director Gautam Ghosh, making a comeback after a 29-year absence. The film centers on two journalists and two police officers (one suspended) chasing a vengeful Kolkata psychopath, who leaves behind couplets from Bengali poems. Baishe Srabon received positive reviews from critics, and was one of the highest-grossing Bengali films of 2011. 



Memories (2013)

Memories is a 2013 Indian Malayalam crime thriller film written and directed by Jeethu Joseph, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, Vijayaraghavan, Suresh Krishna, S. P. Sreekumar, Mia George and Meghana Raj. The film is produced by P. K. Muralidharan and Santha Murali under the banner of Anantha Visions. The film follows Sam Alex (Prithviraj), a drunkard cop, who is forced to investigate a series of murders. Story is adapted from Blake Pierce's novel Before He Kills.



Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! (2015)


Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! is a 2015 Indian mystery thriller film directed by Dibakar Banerjee and jointly produced by Banerjee and Aditya Chopra.[6] The story is based on the fictional detective Byomkesh Bakshi created by the Bengali writer Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay.[7] The film stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Anand Tiwari and Swastika Mukherjee in principal roles. It was released on 3 April 2015 to positive reviews from critics. There will be a sequel of this film where Sushant Singh Rajput will act in the same character.
